365 Days of Prayer..

 

April

"Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain

to pray and continued all night in prayer to God." (Luke 6:12)

 

01    Pray for WSBC Executive Board as they determine policy and work with staff in developing and supporting the various ministries of the convention.

 

02   Pray that God will call Wyoming students to serve as summer missionaries. Pray that God will bless Wyoming with an abundance of student missionaries.

 

03   Pray that the members of First Baptist Church , Saratoga , will look to the Lord as their strong tower of hope.

 

04   Pray that God would call students to fulltime ministry and that students would answer the call.

 

05   Pray for parents as they try to navigate the waters of so many influences which may be harmful to their children.

 

06   Pray for the Joint Advisory Committees in each area to have wisdom and discernment in planning cooperative ministry of their churches.

 

07   Pray that the members of Trinity Baptist Church , Laramie , will allow Christ to live His life through them by faith.

 

08   Pray that God will provide the necessary funding for Church Planters as they invest their lives and families in the beginning of new works.

 

09   Pray for the new Set Free ministry in Riverton and for Richard Mills, Set Free church planter. Pray that they will reach those addicted to drugs and alcohol and disciple them into a reproducing and multiplying community.

 

10   Pray that God's love will be manifested through the lives of the members of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church , Rock Springs .

 

11   Pray for our teachers in the WSBC Center for Leadership Development as they prepare the next generation of pastors and other church leaders .

 

12   Pray that Christians in the “oil patch” will share their testimony, live the example, and be a good influence right where God has placed them.

 

13   Pray that the Lord would call more Hispanic pastors and laborers to the harvest field.

 

14   Pray that Grace Fellowship, Evanston , will unite in prayer for one another and that their faith will remain strong until Jesus comes.

 

15   Pray for open hearts and minds of students as believers share their story.

 

16   Petition our Heavenly Father for unity among His people.

 

17   Ask God to instill in your heart and the hearts of your fellow church members a renewed appreciation for our commitment to the Cooperative Program.

 

18   Pray that First Baptist Church , Big Piney, will have a spirit of renewed confidence in prayer.

 

19   Pray that Christians will be ever mindful of the fact that God sees and knows our every action and thought though we may be able to hide them from those around us.

 

20   Thank God that you were able simply to wake up this morning and experience His creation anew.

 

21   Pray for the members at Monroe Avenue Baptist Church , Green River , to listen for God's instruction and direction in carrying on Kingdom work here on Earth.

 

22   Pray for those who are involved in beginning new churches in our state.

 

23   Ask God to let the members of your church be ever mindful that “growth” is measured in more than numbers.

 

24   Pray for Sunnyside Baptist Church , Cheyenne , to see evidence of God's grace in all things and to trust Him in all endeavors.

 

25   Ask God to instill in you a truly forgiving spirit.

 

26   Pray that Christians will so live out their faith that those around them will want to know the source of their joy and contentment.

 

27   Pray for First Baptist Church , Rock River , as they are involved in their building program that they will look to God as their Rock, for strength, for refuge in which to dwell, and for comfort.

 

28   Pray for Suzi Kaser, LIFT missionary serving in the Last Frontier.

 

29   Pray for David Martin, LIFT missionary, serving in Germany

 

30   Pray for United Baptist Church , Riverton, that they will tell their neighbors about Christ, His resurrection, and how He saved them from their sins.

01    Pray for MK, Nafisa Kaser, living with her parents in the Last Frontier.

 

02   Pray that Grace Southern Baptist Church, Greybull, will send out workers to carry the message of Jesus Christ to the unchurched all around them.

 

03   Join people across the country in this National Day of Prayer on the first Thursday of May.

 

04   Ask God to place on the hearts of Tongue River Baptist Church , Ranchester, the desire to pray daily for others.   

 

05   Pray that your faith will be made stronger, realizing that difficulties will occur to accomplish this.

 

06   Pray for our Wyoming churches to aid sister churches across this state in construction and mission projects.

 

07   Pray that the members of Niobrara Southern Baptist Church, Lusk, will be faithful in reading and meditating on God's Word.

 

08   Pray for a ministry to develop that reaches into the new penitentiary at Torringtron.

 

09   Ask God to shape us continually into the image of His Son.

 

10    Pray that the Lord will bring conviction of sin among the Hispanic people in Wyoming .

 

11   Pray that members of Mountain View Baptist Church , Mills, will be examples of living by faith, not by sight.

 

12   Pray that God will call resort ministers to the Jackson Hole, Teton, and Yellowstone area.

 

14   Pray for the members of Sundance Community Church , Sundance, to have God's strength, and power to walk in His Spirit as they serve others.

 

15.   Pray that God continues to reveal ways for BCM to become more of a witness on campus and in the community.

 

16   Pray that our churches would gain a fuller understanding of contextual ministry, and seek to minister in more culturally effective ways in their communities.

 

17   Pray for that person who always seems to be on the outskirts of society, and maybe even your church, and ask God to show you how you can help him/her to feel included.

 

18   Pray for members of First Southern Baptist Church, Worland, to allow God to work in and through them in a way that they will know that it has to be God at work and stand in awe of Him.

 

19   Pray for college students from schools across WY who will be serving in WY, the US , and around the world in summer missions.

 

20   Pray for May Clermont, LIFT missionary, serving in Nigeria .

 

21   Pray for Morning Star Baptist Church , Alpine, to be united by His spirit as they work together for Kingdom Growth.

 

22   Pray for teenagers who face temptations the likes of which their parents never dreamed.

 

23   Pray that your pastor will seek God's guidance to lead your church in the direction that God would have it go and not be tempted by his own ideas.

 

24   Ask God to use VBS to bring people to Christ.

 

25    As many young couples are beginning their lives together, especially at this time of year, pray that they will seek God's guidance to establish a Christian home .

 

26    Pray for First Baptist Church , Hanna. Pray that God's Will be accomplished in all of their lives, and that in all things they glorify God.

 

27   As our nation observes Memorial Day, thank God for all of the brave members of our armed forces who have risked, and in many cases sacrificed, their lives that we may continue to enjoy many freedoms. Take time to thank an active or retired military person for their service.

 

28   Pray for Christopher Clermont, LIFT MK – living stateside..

 

29   Pray for those teenagers who will be involved in mission activities this summer, that they may be safe and that they will grow as Christians from the experience even as they may be experiencing their first opportunity to share the love of Jesus with someone who does not know Him.

 

30   Pray that God will send and bless the mission groups that He sends us from other states. Pray that God will give Wyoming churches opportunities to go on mission trips to other states.

 

31   Thank God for the simple, little things in your everyday life that you normally take for granted.
